Coto Brus: Sabalito, Zona Protectora Las Tablas, 15 km al noreste de Lucha, Sitio Coto Brus, Finca de Miguel Sandí, bosque muy húmedo montano, ad ager Sandiorum "El Surá", crescenti epiphytica in sylvis humidis versus pascues prope flumen Surá, 7 October 2010, Bogarín 8181, Dressler, Fernández & Pupulin (holotype, USJ; isotype, JBL-Spirit; illustration of type).
